13 June 2021 | For the 12th time, the GFPM announces the Early Career Best Paper Award for the best German-language paper in the field of popular music research. Scholars are cordially invited to participate.
Thematically and methodologically, there are no limits as long as the essays deal with popular music in the broader sense (i.e. also jazz, schlager, musical, etc.). The jury of the award, consisting of the Scientific Advisory Board of the GFPM, evaluates above all the innovative, original subject matter, the flawless methodology and the successful linguistic form of the texts.
